Bianco Italian Cuisine & Bar brings a broad Italian dining experience to the corner of Bulcock Street and Taye Avenue in Caloundra. The restaurant combines familiar Italian cooking with a modern Mediterranean influence, offering a menu built around sharing, relaxed meals and repeat visits rather than a single style of dining. Its food offering includes classic pasta, small plates, weekly specials and Pizza Contemporanea — a contemporary pizza style made with lighter, highly hydrated dough and a long fermentation process.

The dedicated bar gives Bianco a second character. It focuses on signature cocktails and a wide wine selection spanning Italy, the Mediterranean and other regions, with many wines available by the glass. Premium bottles can also be served through Coravin, allowing guests to try more specialised pours without committing to a full bottle. The bar menu includes Italian cicchetti-style share plates as well as larger dishes, so it works for a quick aperitivo, a light graze or a full meal at your own pace.

The setting is presented as a polished but coastal space within the new Bianco development, with the restaurant offering a relaxed dining environment and the bar providing a more intimate atmosphere. The bar is reserved for adults, while families with children are welcome in the restaurant section. Walk-ins are accepted when space allows, and bar bookings are available in the evening for groups of up to six, with a 90-minute seated time applying there as well.

Bianco also caters for larger gatherings through shared banquet menus. Groups of 12 are required to choose the banquet option rather than ordering à la carte, although the venue can create an individual set menu if the standard feast options do not suit. The bar can also be booked for private events. For a more structured occasion, the venue runs Italian wine dinners, including a four-course Sicilian tasting menu matched with Italian wines. On weekday lunchtimes, excluding public holidays, diners can choose a two- or three-course lunch special. With its restaurant, adults-only bar, group dining options and wine-focused events, Bianco suits everything from a solo drink and shared plates to family meals, small celebrations and larger gatherings in central Caloundra.
