Eumundi Brewery

Eumundi Brewery brings a local beer story back to its original home at The Imperial Hotel in Eumundi, a historic Queenslander that has welcomed locals and travellers since 1911. The brewery’s roots reach back to 1988, when Eumundi Lager was first poured. After returning in 2017 with Lion, the brand came back into Queensland family-owned hands in 2025 through the Comiskey Group, and brewing has resumed in the town where it began.

The brewery produces four main beers, along with occasional guest brews. Eumundi Lager is the name most closely tied to the venue’s history, while the broader range is made with quality ingredients for Queensland’s warm climate, with a focus on crisp, refreshing beers. The website says the beer is served from tank to tap in the Imperial’s new beer garden, giving visitors the chance to enjoy it close to where it is brewed.

The setting combines old pub character with a refreshed, retro-inspired interior. Inside the Imperial Hotel are a front bar, restaurant, kids room, gaming room, TAB and band room, with live local music and acoustic sets on weekends. Ticketed shows are also held upstairs above the brewery, adding a regular live-music component to the venue.
