Kindest Cakery (Formerly Kynd Cakery)

Kindest Cakery, formerly Kynd Cakery, is a plant-based and gluten-free bakery serving the Sunshine Coast from Kindest Concept at 13 Endeavour Drive, Kunda Park. The space is open to the public with a changing cabinet of sweet treats and pastries, making it suited to anyone after a spontaneous bakery stop as well as customers arranging something in advance.

The bakery’s main offering is custom cakes, with preordered cakes available alongside the daily treat cabinet. The selection changes from day to day, so the cabinet is designed for browsing rather than relying on a fixed menu. The team also caters for weddings and takes wholesale and custom orders, giving the business a broader role than a standard walk-in bakery.

Kindest Cakery is part of Kindest Concept, a venture created by Dani and Sarah, who have worked together since 2017 across custom cakes, wedding catering, ready-made meals, charity events, a restaurant and a café. Their stated aim is to make plant-based, gluten-free goods that appeal beyond specialist diets. The wider space also includes ready-made frozen meals and preloved clothing through the sister brands Kindest Kitchen and Kindest Threads.

There is an undercover sitting area, although seating is limited. That makes the venue a practical choice for a solo visit or a quick catch-up, while larger groups can use the Sunshine Coast Brewery Beer Garden next door. For Buderim and nearby Sunshine Coast locals, it offers a place to pick up a cake to order or drop in and see what is available in the cabinet.
