Mooloolaba Adventure Playground

Mooloolaba Adventure Playground is part of the Northern Parkland on the Mooloolaba foreshore, a one-hectare public space opened in 2022 as the first stage of the Mooloolaba Foreshore Revitalisation Project. It gives families a dedicated place to play beside the beach, with the playground offering climbing, swinging and sliding activities.

The wider parkland adds plenty of room for a longer outing. There is a 200-metre accessible boardwalk and viewing platform, coastal pathways, open grass for picnics and ball games, sheltered barbecues, dining tables and an ocean-view deck. New beach access points, public seating and more than 120 trees and 10,000 plants also form part of the foreshore setting.

The boardwalk and pathways are intended to accommodate people with disabilities, including wheelchair users, while the playground includes play elements designed to support the physical, cognitive, sensory and social skills of children of all abilities. Public amenities include disability access and ambulant facilities.
