Munimba-ja Arts Centre

Munimba-ja Arts Centre is an Aboriginal-run gallery and cultural space in Eumundi, on the Sunshine Coast. It presents contemporary Aboriginal art and ideas through exhibitions, events and a shopfront, with the work shaped by local Aboriginal voices and First Nations stories connected to Country. The centre describes itself as a welcome space, with a focus on community, cultural expression and artists creating on their own terms.

The gallery and shop offer locally designed art and products selected according to the centre’s stated ethical and sustainability standards. The centre was founded by Libby Harward, a Quandamooka artist whose multidisciplinary practice engages with cultural narratives, colonisation, reclamation and caring for Country.
