Why it's worth checking out

Peli’s Noosa brings Mediterranean-inspired dining to Noosa Marina, with waterfront views and a menu designed for sharing. The restaurant describes its approach as simple, produce-focused cooking served in a relaxed, energetic dining room, making it a natural choice for a long lunch, an easy dinner or a meal with friends where ordering a few dishes for the table is part of the experience.

The menu ranges across seafood, charcoal-grilled dishes, pasta, vegetables and larger cuts intended for the group. Standout offerings listed by the restaurant include ocean trout crudo with smoked mascarpone, green olive and caper; grilled baby octopus with braised white beans and salsa verde; BBQ swordfish with Café de Paris butter; and slow-cooked Wagyu short rib with celeriac, horseradish and smoked bone marrow. There are also shareable additions such as woodfired flat bread, taramasalata, baked rigatoni al vodka, roast broccoli and fries with garlic aioli. Menus can change, but the overall focus remains on fresh, seasonal ingredients and communal dining.

For lunch, Peli’s offers a prix fixe set menu on selected weekdays, with shared starters, a choice of main and sides. The restaurant also lists a more substantial “Just Feed Me” format, suited to diners who would rather let the kitchen shape the meal. An extensive wine list is part of the offering, curated to complement the Mediterranean-influenced food.

The space has a modern Mediterranean coastal feel, using natural materials and warm tones throughout. Its waterfront setting and private dining room give it scope beyond everyday restaurant visits: Peli’s can host intimate weddings of up to 40 guests in the private room, as well as larger weddings of up to 120, and caters for business events, birthdays and anniversaries. The private dining room seats 40 and has direct water frontage.

Peli’s was founded by Matt Sinclair, Michael Rickard and Jeremiah Jones, the team behind Sum Yung Guys. Their aim is to combine inventive food with friendly, attentive service, while Jeremiah Jones has led the venue’s design and branding. At Noosa Marina in Tewantin, close to Noosaville, the restaurant is particularly well suited to groups and celebrations, with the share-style format giving everyone a reason to try something different. Bookings are available, and the Noosa Ferry provides another way to reach the marina from Hastings Street.

The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.6 from 223 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
