Bokarina Boulevard Park

Bokarina Boulevard Park is a large, beach-side playground in Bokarina, within the Kawana Waters area of the Sunshine Coast. The park is around 50 metres from Bokarina Beach, making it an easy option for families who want to combine active play with time by the water. The surrounding streets include Bokarina Boulevard, Bombora Drive and Singlefin Crescent, with parking available on those streets and near the beach on Longboard Parade.

The playground has plenty to keep different ages occupied. Children can use the swings, nest swing, wide slide, see-saw, tunnels, climbing nets, vertical climbing frame and rock-climbing wall. The main play structure has three entry points, including climbing access and a net tunnel, while smaller children can explore the jumping mounds, turtles and sand-digging area. A water pump and digger add more open-ended play, so the park suits children who like climbing and balancing as well as those who prefer imaginative, ground-level activities.

There is also a pump track with small hills and humps for bikes, scooters and skateboards. This gives older children another reason to visit and helps spread activity beyond the main playground. The park has shaded areas, an undercover seating space, tables and multiple barbecues, although the undercover seating is not directly beside the playground. Seating closer to the equipment is more exposed, so families may want to bring extra sun protection. The open layout provides plenty of room, but the playground is sizeable enough that supervising several children may require more than one adult, particularly if they tend to run off.

Bokarina Boulevard Park is best suited to families with toddlers through to older primary-school children, as well as groups bringing bikes or scooters. It offers a broad mix of play equipment rather than a single feature, and the nearby beach adds flexibility to a longer outing.
